Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District (“District”) will receive sealed Bid proposals for the following project:

TITLE: LAKEVIEW STREET RESERVOIR DEMOLITION (District Project #C2001)
DESCRIPTION: Demolition of reinforced concrete water reservoir and site restoration.
ESTIMATED BASE BID COST RANGE: $35,000 TO $55,000 (Not including sales tax)
SUBMITTAL TIME/DATE/LOCATION: Prior to 2:05 P.M. PST, Tuesday, March 10, 2020

Public Bid Opening will commence at approximately 2:10 P.M. at the same location.

PRE-BID MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-Bid meeting will be held at the District Maintenance Office (1010 Lakeview St), at 10:00 A.M. PST, Wednesday, February 26, 2020, for the purpose of answering questions from prospective Bidders and site visit tour following an initial meeting. Contractors may obtain plans, specifications, and plan holders’ lists from: Applied Digital Imaging, 1803 N. State Street, Bellingham, WA 98225 (360) 671-9465 (allow 24-hours notice for printing). Plans and specifications can be viewed at: Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District Office, 1220 Lakeway Drive, Bellingham, WA 98229 (360) 734-9224.
Award of the contract(s) will be to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder.

Within 24 hours following the bid opening, Bidders may obtain Bid results at www.myplancenter.com.

Bidder Responsibility will be evaluated for this project. In determining Bidder responsibility, the Owner shall consider an overall accounting of the criteria set forth in “DIVISION 00300 SUPPLEMENTAL BIDDER RESPONSIBILITY CRITERIA”.
