Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District (“District”) will receive sealed Bid proposals for the following project:

TITLE: Euclid Sewer Pump Station Improvements (District Project # C1802-EUC-2)

SUMMARY OF WORK: Electrical System Replacement and Emergency Power Generator Addition. The project location is in Bellingham, Washington.

ESTIMATED BASE BID COST RANGE: $450,000 – $550,000

SUBMITTAL TIME/DATE/LOCATION: 2:05 PM PST, Wednesday, February 16, 2022

Public Bid Opening will commence at approximately 2:10 P.M. The District office is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19. The project bid opening will be broadcast live to the public using an online meeting platform. The day before the bid opening an e-mail with an invitation and instructions to join the bid opening will be sent to all Plan Holders on the list maintained by WCR Plan Center.

PRE-BID MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-Bid meeting will be held outside at the project site just southeast of 1602 Euclid Ave, Bellingham, WA 98229, at 2:00 PM PST, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, for the purpose of answering questions from prospective Bidders. In accordance with CDC and State requirements, face masks are required and 6-foot social distancing from all persons will be enforced indoors.

Within 24 hours following the bid opening, Bidders may obtain Bid results at cloud.myplancenter.com. Bidder Responsibility will be evaluated for this project. In determining Bidder responsibility, the Owner shall consider an overall accounting of the criteria set forth in “DIVISION 00300 SUPPLEMENTAL BIDDER RESPONSIBILITY CRITERIA.” Award of the contract(s) will be to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder. Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or irregularities.
