Employment Opportunity – District Engineer/Engineering Manager

Lake Whatcom Water & Sewer District is seeking an experienced District Engineer/Engineering Manager for this well-managed organization headquartered in Bellingham, WA. The District serves 11,000 customers in an 18 square-mile area located wholly within the uniquely beautiful and environmentally sensitive Lake Whatcom watershed.

Reporting to the General Manager, the District Engineer is responsible for managing and directing all engineering activities in the design and construction of District and developer-funded projects. This position supervises the Engineering Department staff comprised of the Construction Engineer (a PE) and Engineering Technician/Safety Officer.
