Bellingham, Washington (September 11, 2024) – Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District is pleased to announce that its Finance Manager, Jennifer Signs, has been appointed to the HRA VEBA Trust for Public Employees in the Northwest (HRA VEBA Trust) Board of Trustees.
The HRA VEBA Trust is a nonprofit, multiple employer voluntary employees’ beneficiary association (VEBA) that offers a funded health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) to employees of eligible governmental employers in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. The HRA VEBA Trust is governed by a seven-member board of trustees and serves about 100,000 participants of 725 employers with approximately $1 billion in total assets.
A Certified Public Fund Investment Manager with over 20 years of accounting experience that includes a decade working for local governments, Ms. Signs will bring her strengths in investing, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, risk management, and financial policy to the Board of Trustees.
